Warrior Camping Hammock – Integrated Bugnet Hammock

At Little Shop of Hammocks we designed the hammock from the ground up. Careful consideration goes into fabrics, design and function. Hammock camping is a fantastic way to experience camping in the outdoors whether you are car camping, canoeing or hiking. Each hammock is individually sewn. No cookie cutter pieces stuck on to cookie cutter blanks. This is where the difference is between the Warrior and other hammocks on the market.

Warrior Hammocks allow you to customize your width. Need it wide? Choose 64″.
62″ Is the new normal width for Warrior Hammocks!. These hammocks are designed with the same emphasis on comfort, reliability and a light weight design and fit all heights and shoulder widths! Using great fabrics, you can trust them whether your hiking, basic camping or canoeing to your destination.

Fabric is specially chosen for hammock use as are YKK zippers and strong internal components. The Warrior comes with underquilt hooks standard to help set up your UnderQuilt (or future UQ) and a Option for a Ridgeline Organizer with well thought out compartments to store some gear.

All hammocks are priced without a suspension.

Explain the way your bugnet works on your hammocks:

  • Warrior : The bugnet on the Warrior  Hammocks are designed to allow you to have openings on both sides of the hammock. Using 4 sliders you can position them anywhere. This is extremely important because it allows you to reach out either side to adjust your underquilt, grab something off the ground or just get out on either side.  You can also open half the net, flip it over or unzip the bugnet so it’s hidden up in the peak area.  It doesn’t come completely off but instead is super easy to zip and unzip. You aren’t fighting with zipper sliders reattaching stuff.
    • In short it is retractable but can not totally remove it.

  1. Patrick H.

Just wanted to send a quick message – thanks for your help in getting
this ordered. I received it last week and took it out this weekend for
an overnight at Three Forks near Springer Mountain (Georgia) on the
Appalachian Trail. It was very comfortable and exactly what I was
looking for. Certainly an upgrade from my previous two hammocks. I had
a handful of people ask about it when they saw it set up. I’ll be sure
to recommend LSOH to others going forward.

First of all, I want to say James was extremely accommodating. After a few emails, he quoted me a very reasonable shipping rate to a country he didn’t have listed in his shipping countries, which was very kind of him. So once again, thank you James for taking care of me.
The hammock itself is extremely well done, and the craftsmanship is visibly apparent in the construction. I have another hammock (a Dutchware Chameleon), and the warrior edges it out in terms of comfort. Once you find the right spot, the warrior hammock will take care of you for the night. So much so that I find myself not wanting to get out once the morning comes.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone interested in a comfortable, easy to set-up hammock.

  3. R. Mandeville

This is my first hammock and I’m extremely pleased with it. I found LSOH on HammockForums.net and the reviews were very positive. I was excited to find a Canadian manufacturer that was turning out top-notch gear. As this was my first hammock, I asked a lot of questions and James was very informative (and patient!). I always felt he had my satisfaction rather than his sales in mind. The workmanship is exceptional and the options where I simply deferred to him (‘whatever you feel will look good, James’) came our wonderfully. I’m singing its praises now to anyone who will listen and will be returning to LSOH for my quilt purchases. Thanks again, James.

  4. Adam

I purchased a Warrior from James earlier this year and have spent several comfortable nights in it. Prior to purchasing, I looked at a couple of other hammock brands. The Warrior had a lot of extras (quilt hooks, ridgeline organizer, etc) that the other brands didn’t. Being new to hammock camping, I had what felt like a lot of questions for James. He was very patient in answering all my questions and in the end, I felt very comfortable in my purchase. The construction of these hammocks is second to none and I have no doubt that I will be able to enjoy many years from mine.

  5. K.Bureau

I have a LSOH hammock. And his BAT tarp. And the Razor tarp and an UQ protector in the mail from him right now! I am actually hoping to selling my Hennessy this weekend. James makes a great hammock with lots of little extras that don’t cost extra!

    Sid Bredin – Ontario
Hands down, the best online retail experience or any retail experience for that matter I’ve had and I’ve had a few in over 45 years of buying gear! James’ attention to detail, answers to my questions, suggestions and follow up was unparalleled and timely. He worked with me to ensure that I got what I wanted, did some custom work on the suspension system and even emailed me when he wasn’t satisfied with the chosen fabric from his supplier. He suggested another fabric, which is even lighter but still strong and durable. There are more than a few companies and retailers who could learn a thing or two about customer service and follow up from James!
